Carol Ann Ostrowski
Of Arlington Heights

Carol Ann Ostrowski was born on June 5, 1945, in Chilton, Wisconsin to Albert and B. Esther (nee Thill) Ludwig. She died Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.

Before retiring Mrs. Ostrowski was a customer service representative for Quill.com and Sears Roebuck for 23 and 19 years each respectively. A devoted parishioner of St. Edna Catholic Church from its inception, she was a member of the Greeting Ministry. Carol was also a former participant and organizer in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. She collected windchimes, was an avid reader who enjoyed visiting the local library, doing crosswords, crochet, and playing bingo at church and elsewhere. Family was tremendously important to her and was reflected in her close relationships with her many children, grandchildren, extended family and friends. She had a lifelong love of country music and enjoying going to concerts, especially classic country.

Survivors include all her children, Paula Ann (Anthony) Roma, Diane (Carol Wismer) Ostrowski, Brian Ostrowski, Renee Ostrowski, Raymond II (Connie) Ostrowski, Lisa (Michael) Shulkin, Lynn (Jayson) Slater, and Jennifer (Eric Grzeda) Ostrowski; her grandchildren, Reece, Natascha, Carol Jean, Trevor, Darien, Paden, Keyon, Shannen, and Cassidy; her great-grandchildren, Kaiya and Elijah: all her brothers Paul (Susan) Ludwig, Frank (Shari) Ludwig, Mark (Patty) Ludwig, Thomas (Bette) Ludwig, and Luke Ludwig; her sister-in-law Valerie Thompson, and her brothers-in-law Dennis and Frank Ostrowski.
Carol is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond, and her parents.

Visitation from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, Friday, July 27, 2018 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois and Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 9:00 am until time of funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, Illinois.
