Obituary for Pasquale "Pat" Fanella

Pasquale "Pat" Fanella was born on July 11,1940 in Chicago to Anthony and Antoinette (nee Grasso) Fanella. He died Friday, October 6, 2017 in Libertyville.

Pat was mechanically inclined and could fix anything. He worked as a specialty machinist and was president of Kapcoa Corporation in Glenview. He enjoyed fishing, internet surfing, and watching Westerns and old TV programs. In his younger days he worked on his cars and still spoke fondly of his ‘57 Pontiac. His family meant everything to him, and he left a void that cannot be filled.

Pasquale is survived by Linda (nee Kubica),his wife of 55 years; beloved children, Timothy (Donna), Joseph, Christopher (Cindy), John, Andrea (Shane) Koeneman and Michael (Patty); terrific grandchildren, Natalie, Emily, Anthony, Alyssa, Luke, Cassidy, Nicole, Robert, Danielle, Jonny, Christopher "Rocky" Fanella, Grace Koeneman, Leo, and Sam; great-grandsons, Logan and Owen Wheat; siblings; James (Marcy) Fanella and Rose (the late Michael) Klemmer; brother-in-law to Glen (Mary) Kubica; uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Visitation Friday, October 13, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. A Memorial Service will be held 11 am Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment is private.
