Maureen Ann Miller
Of Buffalo Grove, Illinois

Maureen Ann Miller, age 70, of Buffalo Grove, Illinois. She passed away on June 1, 2018, surrounded by family.

After graduating St. Mary of Nazareth Nursing School in Chicago, Maureen had a long and distinguished fifty-year career as a Registered Nurse. She would attain career achievements including board certification and advance to department head, Assistant Director of Nursing and finally Director of Nursing.

Maureen always loved going to concerts - among her favorites were Chicago, Peter Cetera, Bill Champlin, Moody Blues, Steely Dan and Alan Parsons.

Maureen enjoyed a great deal of domestic and international travel. Most notably, she went on a pilgrimage to Rome and Vatican City to attend the canonization of St. Jeanne Jugan.

Maureen was a life-long dog lover.

She especially loved her grandchildren - Alyssa, Nicholas, Andy & Sara and her great-grandchild Noah.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Richard; her sons Darren, Craig (Valerie) and Chris (Amy); her sister Marcia (James); her parents, the late Julian and Marion Budziak; her grandmother, the late Catherine Klimowicz; her grandchildren, great-grandchild and godchildren/nephews and niece Matthew, Mark and Megan.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks South of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maureen's name to the American Cancer Society.
