Marilyn A. Olin
Of Schaumburg 

Marilyn A. Olin was born on September 2, 1936 in Chicago to Harry and Mildred (nee Eimmerman) Osterling. She died Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Alexian Brothers Hospice in Elk Grove Village. 

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Arlington Heights, where she belonged to Presbyterian Women and was very active in many ministries within the Church.  Marilyn was also a member of JX Chapter of PEO and Alpha Gamma Delta at Carroll College in Waukesha, WI.  She was heavily involved with the Friends of Clearbrook organization, and a committee member of Clearbrook’s Shining Star Ball for many years. She was an avid crafter, flower arranger, and worked for an antique jeweler in Long Grove. She was also an entrepreneur, running a home-based business for many years with a close friend.   Marilyn loved to spend time with her family in Williams Bay, WI, and was loved by all. 

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 59 years, Stuart; children, Kathi (Tim) Molloy, Jeffrey (Debra) Olin, and Scott (Stacey) Olin; grandchildren, Sera Olin, Daniel and Riley Molloy, Jack and Morgan Olin. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, James Osterling. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, November 24, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 302 North Dunton Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL  60004.  Entombment was private.
