Margaret C. Wittrock
Of Arlington Heights

Margaret C. Wittrock was born on July 3, 1918 in Chicago to Peter and Rachel Marie (nee Hovland) Christensen. She passed away Friday, May 5, 2017 in Arlington Heights.

She was formerly a member of Edison Park Lutheran Church, and more recently attended St. John the Beloved Chapel at the Lutheran Home and Services in Arlington Heights. Margaret was also a member of Sons of Norway, where she served as Governor of the International Foundation and a Director of Skjold Lodge #100.

Margaret is survived by her children, Greg (Susan) Wittrock, Pam (Steven) Strack and Janice (the late George) Sievers; grandchildren, Scott (Rachel) Strack, Kristine (Christian) Landy, Michael (Jenni) Wittrock and Cynthia (Daniel) Davidson; great-grandchildren, Melanie Wittrock, Grace Wittrock, Jeremy Strack, Makenna Strack, Zachary Strack, Morgan Landy and Emily Landy; sister, Pearl (the late Joseph) Wendt; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Cyril K. Wittrock; great-grandson, Mark Wittrock; her parents; siblings, Alice (Art) Freier and Arnold (Margaret) Christensen.

Visitation, Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 10:00 am until the 11:30 am Funeral Service at St. John the Beloved Chapel, at the Lutheran Home and Services, 800 W. Oakton, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Entombment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
