Karen A. Goldman
Of Prospect Heights 

Karen Goldman was born on July 20, 1948 in Madison, Wisconsin to Elmer and Bernice (nee Coleman) Kautz. She died Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Northwest Community Hospital - JourneyCare Hospice in Arlington Heights, Illinois. 

Mrs. Goldman worked at Northwest Community Healthcare for over 15 years in Registration as well as an Assistant Patient Advocate.  She also worked for The Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce and welcomed new residents; was President and Regional Representative of Arlington Heights Junior Women's Club; was Chairwoman of Annual Fundraiser for Journeys I The Road Home; and was in charge of Silent Auction for Faith Community Homes.   

Karen is survived by her husband of 47 years, Marc P. Goldman; children Daniel Goldman, Barry (Tracy) Goldman and Tammy (Kevin) Wynard.: grandchildren Teddy  Wynard,  Katey Wynard,  Nathaniel Goldman and Parker Goldman; and sister Georgia Schumann. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

A Celebration of Karen's Life will be on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 1:00 pm until time of Service at 4:00 pm, Friday, November 17, 2017 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church 1234 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to either The Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Chicago 8430 W. Bryn Mawr Suite 800, Chicago, IL, 60631 or The American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK, 73123-1718.
