Faye E. Cozad
Of Arlington Heights 

Faye E. Cozad was born on September 27, 1937 in Lostant to Lyman and Ida (nee Graves) Brown. She died Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in Elk Grove Village.

She worked as a High School Teacher for Roxana School and Wood River-East Alton School Districts, Faye substitute taught all subjects for Junior and Senior grade levels.  Faye was an active member of East Alton First United Methodist Church. She served on a number of committees and church projects.  She loved to sew, tend to the yard, garden and attend musicals and plays at the Muni Opera in St. Louis. Faye enjoyed visiting with her children and grandchildren and was loved by all. 

Faye is survived by her husband of 59 years, Darrell; children, Craig (Sheryl) Cozad, Leah Cozad and Brian (Linda) Cozad; grandchildren, Lauren Cozad, Breean, Cozad, Thomas Cozad and Anna Cozad and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Howard Brown, Wayne Brown, Roger Brown and Betty Kent. 

Visitation Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL  60004. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, 302 East Lincoln Street, Saybrook, IL. 61770 with a 11:30 am Graveside Committal Service at Riverside Cemetery in Saybrook.
