Carmen Charles Mormino
Of Arlington Heights  

Carmen Charles Mormino was born June 24, 1934 in Chicago to Carmen and Rose (nee LaFata) Mormino.  He died October 3, 2017 at Glenbrook Hospital. 

Described as “one of the great characters in the Chicago trucking and scrap communities,” he spent over 40 years in the industry impacting the lives of all he encountered.  Above all else, he made family his number one priority.     

Carmen is survived by his wife Frances (nee Sylvester) Mormino; his children Monica (Scott) Duffey and Carmen (MaryLee) Mormino, Jr.; his grandchildren Nelson (Sarah), Nicholas, Neal, Mia and Lola; his great grandchildren Lacey, Kendall and Tanner “T.J.” his sister Camille (late George) Delia; his sisters in law Violet and Claudia (Guido) and by his many loving nieces and nephews.  

Carmen is preceded in death by his sisters in law Lee, Nancy and Isabel and by his parents.

Visitation Friday, October 6, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights.  Funeral service 10:00AM, Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd.  Interment at All Saints Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be given to Face Off With Cancer, Inc., 530 W.
