Burial and Entombment Options

Being a family owned company we can focus on providing each family choices that meet their needs and budget. We offer a number of options, tailoring each remembrance to the unique desires of the family and how they want to honor their loved one. Listed below are some general categories.

Full Service Funeral

The Full Service Funeral is for those planning a public event which includes a visitation time separate from the ceremony. Traditionally a visitation is held the afternoon and evening prior to the ceremony. Typically this occurs at our funeral home, but can take place at any appropriate location. Timing is scheduled for the convenience of family and guests.

The visitation period brings together family and friends and offers the opportunity to express condolences, share stories and support. We encourage personalizing the gathering by including meaningful items representative of the deceased and displaying them in one of our spacious visiting areas. These can include, photos, awards, collections, models, we’ve even had a motorcycle in our visitation room. Popular too are videos and photos displayed on our monitors. We offer a number of options to accommodate electronic display.

The day following the visitation, a Full Service Funeral would usually have a more formal ceremony or remembrance. Many choose to have a traditional Funeral Mass, Service or Life Celebration at their church, while others prefer having the gathering occur at our Funeral Home or other location. Regardless of where the remembrance occurs, be assured the Glueckert Funeral Home staff will be there to guide and assist in providing a loving tribute for your family member.

The committal service usually follows the planned ceremony and is done at the gravesite or cemetery or mausoleum chapel. More information.

Partial Service Funeral

The Partial Service Funeral offers all the amenities and elements of the Full Service except the visiting period is shorter and immediately precedes the ceremony. Visiting times are usually two hours and can be done at our Funeral Home, church or other location. The Partial Service is for those planning a public gathering but are able or want to focus the event to one day. More information.

Visitation Funeral

There are situations where the family wants the support and exchange offered by the visitation, but does not have the need for a ceremony before the disposition takes place. This sometimes occurs when final disposition is at a remote location or when a memorial service is planned. More information.

Limited Service Funeral

The Limited Service Funeral is when the ceremony takes place at the cemetery or mausoleum. It can be a public event and usually is the most economical way to have a remembrance with burial or entombment. More information.
